OUR PURPOSE
A modest dresser often faces struggles when shopping for evening wear. She finds a dress that she loves, but it is either too short, sleeveless, or has a long slit. Sometimes she finds a dress that seems perfect—it has sleeves, is not figure-hugging, and is long enough—but as soon as she turns it around, she realises it is backless. This is where Ammari comes in. Ammari is a premium evening wear brand focused on exceptional quality, craftsmanship, and eye-catching designs suitable for a modest woman.
OUR FOUNDER
Ammari is the brainchild of Mariam Mahomed, a fashion professional with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fashion and nine years of experience in fashion buying for some of the largest brands in South Africa and Dubai. Having personally experienced the challenges faced by modest dressers, Mariam identified a significant gap in the market and brought her vision to life.
OUR PROCESS
Every Ammari piece is carefully sourced from the Middle East, with a special focus on quality and craftsmanship. To maintain exclusivity, we only offer one item per size. We also provide complimentary tailoring on all our items over R3000.00
